Tonight, as I was getting ready for my next run, I was getting my list for packing and fixing my playlist. I realized that I have not gotten to this place on my own. I started thinking of all the people who I have met and have embraced…not just my fabulous coach, but folks on Twitter, family, friends. Kim called, and said, Linda I was looking at the plan. We’re not running tonight. We ALWAYS run on Tuesday.
Workout plan #fail. I just didn’t pay attention. So I did this instead…

Dear LA Marathon,
Last Minute Linda is heading your way. Don’t be fooled by the name! She will not be coming in at the last minute. This bad ass is prepared! She has laid it down…step by step…one at a time…her own two feet. She is in full-form. You better warn that road…prepare the course…for she comes to play with her game face on! Prepare for flybys! Prepare for ass kickings! She stands firm, tall, strong! She will kill your course. Call up the dept of transportation…for your roads will be in bad shape when she’s done with them.
I couldn’t be more proud of her….her steadfastness, determination, grit, courage, heart! Her heart. It is golden! Shinier than any medal you could ever give her. Her legs will get her through, but when they tire, it is her heart that will sustain her! Her love of the run.
Her mind is set! Her destiny awaits her! I hope you’re ready! Be ready! MsV is coming to kick ass and take names!!! Wrap her up with a hug for me at the finish!
Love,
Me
Outranked by a bunch of Twits. I see how it is. Nice job getting all those lists written. You are even more ready. Cheers!
Woo hoo! You are READY!!!!! Let’s get this thing ON!!!!
Sounds like you are fired up and ready to go! Great prep list.
The chorus from one of my fav running songs is a great running mantra, especially for the marathon… Take a listen if you don’t already have this on your play list.

RUN IT OUT MsV!
Dang, you’re organized. GOOD LUCK, MS. V!!!! You’re gonna kick some major ass!
