Yesterday, I had over 700 mg of caffeine. I didn’t mean to. I had my regular 3 cups of coffee in the morning. At lunch, I had a 24 oz. diet Mountain Dew. I had a cappucino. On my way to San Jose with friends we stopped at Starbucks and I purchased an iced tea. Passion! YUM! (Sugar free). I went out to dinner with friends and had three cups of coffee, then a soy latte for my dessert! I think I have a problem. I was feeling so good that I had limited my sugar intake, only to have it replaced with this high caffeine problem.
Supposedly you’re only supposed to have 150 mg a day, and no more.
So maybe that’s why I’m awake at 2am, can’t sleep. Can’t go back to sleep.
I’m starting my withdrawl today. Well, not completely. I’ll just have my coffee in the morning, and my diet Pepsi at lunch. And that’s it. Really.
