I have this weird little run rule.  I don’t touch my iPod to get a *better* song until 3 songs have played initially.  Today, I had the most fabulous music, and I’m happy I stuck with my rule.  (Later during runs, I’m usually messing with the search function so I can get a faster/slower/happier/energy-providing song to run to).

Some good stuff, people.  We left our stuff at Starbucks, and since we hadn’t run since *gasp* last Wednesday, agreed to do 20 minutes.  It’s hotter than snot here, so we decided 5am was our target.  It was cool and nice, and oddly, a beautiful easy run.  How come my body never hurts during my run?  Only after or before…or at night?  It’s Monday.  I’ve decided to Live and Let Live on the Ghetto, (sans furniture Marcy), because God knows I have no business being in their business.
