After icing, elevating and compressing my ankle last night, I really didn’t think I’d have a good run today.

I was wrong.  It was gorgeous, we didn’t stop once, and best of all, it was done by 6:30.  We passed 5 groups of runner, and Kim turned to me and said, “No one was running until we started!”  Yes, I’m sure that’s true.

My playlist was slow, but good.  In an effort to keep my blog alive, and not to descend into Twitterville alone, I blog first.

A FOX news reporter has contacted me regarding the story with the governor.  I’m a little nervous, as I don’t have a job…

We’ll see.

Run, spa, waffles, kids at baseball camp.  Summer at it’s finest!  Have a great day!

  1. Enjoy the spa!

Great job on the run, it seems those compression socks and icing really seem to work!

  2. Isn’t it great when the old and simple methods work? RICE is all you need. Unless you break something, and then you need a CAST. Cheers.

  3. Do the interview…may lead to a job…you never know. What is the worst that can happen? Dont answer that.

  4. You need an agent! (;->). I am assuming the interview would be taped? If not, make sure you set ground rules first – things you will answer and things you won’t if you are afraid they’ll get into touchy areas…

Oh -maybe you can talk to Patrick over at He’s a news anchor, so he might have some words of wisdom.
