At the beginning of July, I got an email from Janny, the pomblogger, asking me to try the POM-Wonderful juice.  She sent me a case of 8, along with some cool cold pack things.

First of all, I love these bottles on so many levels.  I chilled my drink, and went about my business.  It was after one of my runs that I decided to try it.  It had a sweet-sour kind of taste, and reminded me a bit of Welch’s Grape Juice.  I really liked it.

Here is what it says on the POM website:

The Antioxidant Superpower

With incredibly high levels of naturally occurring polyphenol antioxidants , POM Wonderful Pomegranate Juice helps guard your body against free radicals, nasty little molecules that emerging science shows may be linked to disease.  That’s a real super power.

So what’s it like having a personal superhero? It’s easy to find out. Exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet and drink a glass of the Antioxidant Superpower™ to save the day. Every day.

I drank the Pomegranate, but there are five flavors available:

  • 5 Fabulous Flavors
  • 100% Pomegranate
  • POM Blueberry
  • POM Cherry
  • POM Mango
  • POM Tangerine
  • Thanks to POM for sending this to me!  I really enjoyed the product.  A little goes a long way, and it helped during recovery runs…

PS-8×200 intervals this morning went well.  Off to Yoga class!  Then, maybe a POM!
